Here is a week of hometown performances prior to bringing the show to planetariums in Hamburg and Berlin. The event combines live theater, improvisation, original music, and cosmological inquiry into an entertaining, engaging performance. Taking inspiration from audience members’ actual dreams, the performers facilitate the creation of new constellations and mythologies in the night sky.

Dice: A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Dacha Theatre, 7/26/24-8/11 (at Glenn Hughes Playhouse Theatre)
An audience roaming outdoors, fairy hive-minds hopping between actors’ bodies, and an enchanting underscoring by a live band. A troupe of hapless artists sets out to put on the show of their lives, but rehearsal in the woods quickly gets out of hand when warring fairies and heartsick lovers stumble into play. No two shows at our enchanted fairground will be the same, so plan to come again and again! In Dacha’s innovative Dice format, an ensemble of actors memorizes the entire script of a Shakespeare show and the roles are randomized at the start of each performance.
